Afterglow 35 years later

Post by SilentDawning »

Recently reconnected with the music of AfterGlow from the late 80's and have found myself very impressed with their musical quality, their songwriting, and their uplifting messages. They had a few CD's that I absolutely love:

Someone is Listening
The Greatest Gift
A Feeling Within
Come and See

If their music was written for the general public, I think they could have had successful parallel careers like Amy Grant did.

Here are a few favorites of mine that I listen to over and over again:

I hope you enjoy their music as much as I am doing during this revival I'm experiencing.

I was helping my son with a history of rock and roll class that included music from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's.

The assignments included making mix tapes and song lists. I have enjoyed taking that trip down memory road and I was pleasantly surprised by all the great music that I have since added to my playlist.

“It is not the function of religion to answer all the questions about God’s moral government of the universe, but to give one courage, through faith, to go on in the face of questions he never finds the answer to in his present status.” TPC: Harold B. Lee 223
