We can disagree and still love each other unless our disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.

Questions you cannot answer are usually far better for you than answers you cannot question.

Saw this one floating around on the ether.

"Authenticity is not about being unfiltered. It's about staying true to your principles.
The goal isn't to voice every opinion you hold. It's to stand up for ideas that are consistent with your ideals.
Being genuine is closing the gap between what you value and what you express."

Even if people view many things differently, the core Gospel principles (LOVE; belief in the unseen but hoped; self-reflective change; symbolic cleansing; striving to recognize the will of the divine; never giving up) are universal.

It’s mentally exhausting being the only one that looks like you everywhere you go — surrounded by people that are willingly oblivious to how unnatural your experience is.

My wife sent me an anonymous quote from Instagram today:
"YOU ARE NOT LOST. Even the deepest held beliefs can be outgrown. Let them be outgrown. It's ok to say you needed more than they had to offer. Let them go, and go find more."
I remember how big of a victory it was for her to acknowledge that my faith crisis was not a temporary state that I was going to snap out of or wake up from. It meant that she would stop holding out hope for a marriage partner that didn't exist anymore and start building a life with the marriage partner that she had. We have come a long way and grown together.

Good quote, and I apologize in advance for this one but the first thing that came to mind when I read it was:
