My doctor has told me to only drink coffee, tea, or water ... so at least there can be some medical support for your decision.
(understanding, of course, that my health issues are not your health issues - consult your own doctor if you have questions)

Dang! Did you ask him about wine?

Coffee was very bad for me. It definitely increased my stress and anxiety levels and also gave me arrhythmia (sp?). Oh and I sleep properly now.

I have too many friends who truly are addicted to coffee to want to drink it myself (and I don't need it) - but I have no problem with people drinking it who can control their intake properly.

Even if people view many things differently, the core Gospel principles (LOVE; belief in the unseen but hoped; self-reflective change; symbolic cleansing; striving to recognize the will of the divine; never giving up) are universal.

One thing can be said for coffee. It smells good. At least the proper version made from beans. I don't miss it otherwise.

Yes, I've never liked coffee but I've always loved the smell.

If you don't like the taste, you can always try a cappuccino or a latte.
There are flavored creamers as well.
There are a number of things that you develop an acquired taste for over time.

This is not a commercial message for coffee.

Other considerations are
1) If you do as MM suggests it can be pricier than energy drinks (my understanding is Starbucks is at least $5)
2) Over time coffee does stain one's teeth, age, regular cleanings, dentures, etc., may mitigate any concern
