If we are not supposed to bash other religions, then why did Jesus Christ do that with the Pharisees? I always though he loved sinners but hated sin. After seeing Christ call the Pharisees vipers from the Bible I don't know. Your thoughts?

Ray, what you mentioned was similar to what my dad informed me about receiving revelation for ourselves. Much of what we receive that conflicts with the Church is meant more for us. Not for the Church. Just thought I would leave my point of view there.

It wasn't until towards the end of my mission when I began to develop a relationship with Christ. The teachings of the Church have helped me with this, although I do believe sometimes the Church doesn't preach of Jesus Christ and his atonement often enough.

I agree with everything that is being said. It probably depends on the ward and we do have a lot of supplemental things other than the Bible, which is good. I definitely get off track sometimes.
