Re: Navajo Belief
Heber13: If this situation abates enough to somewhat resume normal life, I will try to find the Mormon Battalion marker. Despite circumstances, I still greatly admire Mormon Members, and Missionaries. Heavenly Father used them to save my life and I will never forget it. Sadly, I can not place myself...

Week Eight of Lockdown
Right before all this present darkness started happening, I had just started back to Church, hoping that I could reconcile my feelings of anger and bitterness. If I don't God can not be pleased. A hurtful and wrong decision by the GA will never be reconciled. In my own anger and hurt, I rationalize ...

Planning for a trip to New Mexico IF the Covid 19 thing gets over, and who knows when that is likely to happen. I had planned to drive to Albuquerque, but the way I am feeling today, if it happens, I will likely fly in there, and rent a car for my explorations. It is not firm where I plan to go but ...

Most of it is smoke and mirrors, oh and um gaslighting.
IF/when I go to Sacrament service, I will do the Sacrament, and if they get too crazy or hurtful, I just leave. Their harping about worthiness and Temple Recommends is disingenuous.

Thank you so much. So, while the Church may not have been involved, some familiar people were.

Re: "The Young Messiah".
I have no hard evidence that the Church was involved, though as I looked at the Producers and Production companies, a few things stood out as circumstantial 'evidence'. I've been told that there is a "set" built for the purpose of making movies of the Biblical era out between Provo and St George, We...

Re: "The Young Messiah".
I have been exhaustively searching for more work by those who made this movie. It has Sean Bean and David Bradley in it, I I know that it was not done by amateurs. The rest of the players do a wonderful job but are not as well known. The Movie is apparently an adaptation of a Novel written by Anne R...

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: This should be seen as VERY LDS because Joseph Smith had Visions. I do not believe that the scriptu...

Re: Anybody else watch Messiah (Netflix)?
There is a sweet, loving movie called "The Young Messiah". I watched it on YouTube and it may have been free. It was about Jesus in his prepubescent years.

Re: An Unusual Boy
Looking at the great figures in the Bible, just lots of them had failings, some of them serious ones. So, JS defying God on Polygamy is no surprise. Jacob 2:24 is an example. Anyone here is more expert than I am on Mormon works. For me, God stated clearly that one wife was enough. Then Brigham Young...
