I wonder if the leadership is conversant with the faith stages theory.
Doubtful, unless they also have had exposure to the need to know it in their professional life, which is very doubtful for almost all.

I have no idea, but I'm positive many members in the Bloggernacle would be shocked if they realized the extent of the things of which the leadership is aware. I know quite a few who were surprised by some of the pop culture references in the talks this past General Conference, for example.

Even if people view many things differently, the core Gospel principles (LOVE; belief in the unseen but hoped; self-reflective change; symbolic cleansing; striving to recognize the will of the divine; never giving up) are universal.
