Gospel Tangents

Post by gospeltangents » 11 Jul 2017, 19:14

My name is Rick B, and I have been around the bloggernacle for a while. Back in February I officially started a new podcast, Gospel Tangents, to discuss Mormon history, theology, and science. I thought I might be able to contribute to the discussion here, and wanted to join the conversation.

Everyone, I know Rick. He is a good guy.

Welcome to our Island of Misfit Toys. I'm looking forward to your contributions.
I see through my glass, darkly - as I play my saxophone in harmony with the other instruments in God's orchestra. (h/t Elder Joseph Wirthlin)

Even if people view many things differently, the core Gospel principles (LOVE; belief in the unseen but hoped; self-reflective change; symbolic cleansing; striving to recognize the will of the divine; never giving up) are universal.

I'll start looking through your podcasts. Thanks! I'm always looking for interesting podcasts, and "Mormon history, theology, and science" sounds right up my alley.

I have listened to these and they are good (and short). I went into them thinking I probably knew this all, but I have found a few items that I learned.
