Re: I am Lookinghard

Well said LH, it seems a lot of people are in the same boat with slight nuances of difference. So far I've found this site full of people who are struggling and maybe upset, but generally still open minded- which fits in perfect.

Re: The Dawn of a New Way of Looking at Church

Thanks for sharing SD, life in the church is a mix of all the good and bad for me as well. Life is perfectly balanced between faith and doubt. They can exist in the same mind at the same time.

Re: SoCal convert of old age and still learning, wondering

Thanks for your responses. I am looking forward to some interaction on this level. I agree with so much of what each of you said, from the hillel quote to looking through a glass darkly. I am redefining what a prophet is right now. Maybe I'll post on that at some point. Thanks again for the welcomes!

Or maybe it's just built within us to find nature really cool and relatable. I think so. I have hiked to...

Re: TR Question Survey - Question 7: Affiliating with Aposta

It never crossed my mind that the question could mean to associate with family members / friends / etc that are not living "gospel standards" would make someone unworthy to attend. I always imagined that the question meant "are you trying to sneak into the temple so you can record it or film it" bas...

Re: I Believe in Heaven

I hope for one as well, i believe and hope. what exactly it is I don't know, but I've always felt it, there has to be something there. Heaven would be a place, much like life, all of the good things and none of the bad.
